Is there any cure for Kahr mags dumping rounds in a spare mag carrier. I lose rounds with both K and MK series mags. This occurs whether using horizontal or vertical mag carriers.

You can tweak the feed lips just a bit. Narrow the opening just a bit.
Haven't heard of this in a long time. Someone here I think it was Ripley made a nifty little tool for bending the feed lips.
Just a notch in a straight piece of metal to put over the lip. Doesn't take much.
Should be a thread about it around here, I'll see if I can find it.

Guess Ripley did something else, I know it was like a Ripley Retractor????
JG Rider came up with this cure.
Last post I think.

The following have helped me with regards to losing rounds from spare magazines:
1. all of the 6 round magazines I carry for my MK9 have Kahr's early production all metal follower in them.
2. the rest of my 9mm magazines have either a modified Kahr plastic follower ( http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.p...t-modification ) or Lakeline LLC all metal follower ( https://lakelinellc.com/shop/metal-m...-for-9mm-kahr/ )
I've only found the Kahr metal follower in early production MK9 magazines.
The modified plastic Kahr followers work (YMMV), but I recommend the metal Lakeline follower because of it's quality.

Here's something else I did on both our K9s and PM9s.mags. Haven't had a problem in about a year. As you push a round into the mag lips there's a distinct click at the back. Tested this mod by dropping the mags onto a concrete floor until I cracked a base plate. Also what I did to the mag carriers back then was to moisten them in water and form the bottoms to a round shape so the top round butts is held in place.

Late in this thread, I know. But what I did to cure that was I had a custom mag holder made by Milt Sparks. It's a version of their pocket holster formed to fit the K9 mag perfectly. Used it for many years now and it never drops a round. I'm sure you could get the same treatment in a belt pouch.
FYI:
The Ripley Retractor is a simple tool to aid is removing the back plate of a Slide. The tool holds the spring and spring guide in place while eliminating the pressure those parts place against the back plate. Turns a three handed job into a two handed job. Keeps those parts from flying off into the ether too.
Here's a pic of the bent coat hanger tool and the tiny jeweler's screwdriver I use...
...and the "tool" installed holding the spring at bay. It works.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.
I had that mag pocket holster made way back when Kahr was almost unknown. Was just pointed out to me that it would be a simple matter to reproduce it in kydex. Or a kydex belt pouch could easily also be made to form-fit the mag so rounds can't escape. Got a heat gun and some rivets?
