That's one cake I wouldn't mind taking in the face.

If your like me what helps is you got a good wife, simple life, and just don’t let stuff worry you if possible.

Many more happy birthdays to you by the way.

Sorry, I just caught this thread. Happy Birthday.
As for the shoulder. I have has both rotator cuffs repairs and bicep tendons snapped. Sounds horrible but I lift weights, shoot a bow set at 56# 100 times per sessionn and can shoot my 3" 586 offhand and keep 99% in a sheet of 9x12 paper.
Seriously, the surgery which is touted as one of the worst is mostly hype. Five years ago I did one in mid may and the other in mid Sept. I was raking leaves that fall and shoveling snow that winter. Better than full strength returns within one year.

Yup, cutting the bicep tendons sounds way easier than the rotator cuff thing. He didn't think my rotators were that bad and not causing the pain. My biggest concern was going for several weeks with an inoperable wing. He said with the bicep thing I'd be able to use it right away.
The shot might be working, last couple nights it hasn't bothered me near as much, still ailing during the day but nights were the worst.

I need to do weights or something, I've completely lost my six pack abs and I asked a nurse the other day if she wanted to get hitched, she turned me down temporarily, that's never happened before.

Must need to polish up my charm and natural good looks.

Losing one of your bicep tendons will go unnoticed. That will alleviate much of your pain. As for steriod shots, be careful as tht actually weakens the tendon to bone connection.
