The seventh round is very difficult to get into the magazine

I put about 115 rounds (S&B 115gr ball & 115gr Federal Hi-Shok jacketed HP) through the magazine and had one issue where the slide locked back with a round in the magazine. This was likely a user error.

Everything else went without issue except that my PM9 is not yet broken in and could be technique sensitive when sling shotting from a locked back slide. Done correctly it was no problem: be a little sloppy and I'd have to give the slide a quick second pull which would always charge the gun. My MK9 didn't care how it was done.
Rounds would load via a locked back slide and the slide stop or via locked back slide and slingshot. They would also load if the slide was already closed then cycled by hand (surprisingly this was less sensitive to technique than sling shotting from a locked back slide with my PM9).

I'll be buying a couple more kits.

Plus, I have a vision problem in my dominant eye that makes range shooting less than fun. I see a retina specialist on Halloween, hopefully he’ll fix it.

Just curious, has anyone preordered the New 10 round magazine or just not interested? I am thinking the 7 rd mag for my CM9 and a set of magguts will do just fine. Have the magguts on my 380 and they run great and I believe the metal follower is actually better than stock. JMO.

NO interest at all. When I got home from the range with my CM9 yesterday...I noticed a "rattle" in the factory 6-rd magazine. Pulled the base plate and found the follower had broken at the front. Piece about the size of the nail on my little finger. Interestingly...it had functioned flawlessly the entire range session although I can't say when it broke.
As a result...I'm going to give the 6+1 magguts kit a try. I'm needing a new follower anyhow, and this kit has one in stainless steel. I've been thinking about it and this broken follower made it an easy decision.
On a side note: I picked up a box of Winchester USA forged steel case 9mm to try, purely on a whim. I typically shoot my own reloads, but wanted to see how my CM9 liked this stuff.

$8.99 for 50 rds at Academy Sports. Ran flawlessly though my pistol. Grouped as good as anything else I've used for the kind of shooting I'm doing with this CM9...5-15 yds, and much faster than "Squeezing off a well aimed shot".

While it may appear to be too long, I will wait until it actually comes out. Yes the MSRP price point is high, but so is a Kahr Magazine and adding Mag guts sure increases the price. There is always a give and take. Life is full of compromises.

I haven’t had good luck with extended mags in Kahrs. My pinky seems to pull on them and cause misfeeds.
