My favorite variety is the Bordeaux... inexpensive ones... $6.99 to $15, but more at less than $10 with discounts at Total Wine. I like some Malbecs, too.

I lost the cap offin a bottle of Annie Green Springs in my younger days. The bed spun for 3 days, most miserable period of my life. Haven't been able to touch the grapes since. Can't even stand the smell.
I'll stick to suds and a few fingers of Scotch now and again, not often.
