Nice. So the serial number is on the grip? The S series frames have the serial number on the grip but they also have a rail.
muggsy: Let's face it, being shot by a .380 will ruin anyone's day.
There is a small metal tag with the S/N and barcode on the lower left side of the grip. It's completely covered by the Hogue Handall Jr. grip sleeve that I installed on this gun, just as I have on all my polymer-framed Kahrs. I wasn't trying to cover up the S/N tag; I just like how the grip feels with the sleeve.
My other (older) P9 and CW9 have a metal tag (with only the S/N) on the underside of the recoil spring tunnel in front of the trigger guard.
