LCP II in .22LR

Having two LCPs, I never picked up an LCP II. That changed when Ruger brought it out in .22LR.
I just couldn't resist and have to say that I'm happy that I didn't.

I've about 300 rounds (Federal field pack and Blazer) through mine with only only one stoppage. That was a failure to fire on the last magazine during my last range trip. I believe it to be ammo related as the round had a decent hit on it:

Accuracy wise, be it luck of the draw or excellent quality control, mine shoots right to it's sights at 10 yards. If I do my part, the little gun is certainly capable of doing it's. The following photo is from that last mag I mentioned above, so there are nine rounds total on the target. I shot these two handed, standing and willing concede that this a "perfect storm" as my groups are usually much larger, but there's no way I wasn't taking a photo of it. That's a 3" diameter splatter target.



The safety pushes forward to fire and is not an issue for me. Their is a magazine disconnect that blocks the trigger, but it does not affect trigger pull.


No way this doesn't stay in my range bag. It will probably go along on hikes as well



FWIW, I picked up a two pack of magazines from Classic Firearms that was $42.03 to my door.

If I hadn't been burned by semiauto .22s before, I'd be less reluctant to try this one out. I hope it earns a great track record. I like the idea.

Picked up the .380 version for the wifey a few months back. I was surprised at the accuracy and lack of recoil. We'll have to shoot it more for a final approval but I so far, she likes it...………………………….

Outstanding shooting Greg. That is "red dot" accuracy. I own the .380 LCPII and it gets carried a lot. I also practice at 10 yd.s but suffice to say my targets will never come close to what you posted. That said, I am a likely candidate to buy one of these little gems.
BTW, I added a set of Talon Grips, painted the front sight fluorescent red over a white undercoat, and also put a dot of white on the top of the hammer when cocked as a reminder the gun was ready to go. All changes that made the gun more functional for me.

I pretty sure six round groups like that will be few and far between for me, but i'm thrilled knowing the little gun can do it.
