    Default Black magazine for cm9

Does anyone know of a source for black magazines for the cm9, 6 rounds?

I don’t know of one and there has been a desire for one since I bought my first Kahr in 2010. Some folks have tried finishing the baseplate black but I don’t remember what they did. Maybe those folks will chime in shortly. Stand by....

You probably have to buy the Thin Blue Line PM9 to get one.

Not a black mag but I took the P9 plastic base plates, sanded off the ledge and covered them with Talon grip tape. This fills the space that can pinch and mostly hides the unfinished steel of the mag.

Sharpie also makes paint pens in either oil based or enamel. I would use them on the bottom of the mags as it would likely hold up better than sharpie ink. Funny but I have both and never thought to do that, even though I don't like the way the ss might show while carrying concealed.

I took the plastic bases and stippled them when I did the grip.

Did nothing to fill the gap which doesn't bother me and I was pleased with the texture and the look. Got lucky I guess.

    The stippling looks great!

For some reason, on the 9mm the plastic base plates fill the gap.

That is exactly what I want. I wonder if the can be bought separately from the gun?
