    From what we have seen in security videos online, armed criminals usually gtfo asap when their intended victims start shooting at them.

    As the pickings get slimmer the bad guys will get braver. Might take a few more shots to talk them into leaving. I really don't expect things to get that bad this time. There is always next time though.
