I can't think of any reason why not. A good blue requires a nice smooth polished surface which could drastically effect the price of the job. Another option would be Roguard from Robar in AZ. I think they have several options. I think they do hot blueing also but don't quote me on that. Any part that is alloy or not steel would require something other than blue of course.
I'm researching places to get some color case hardening done, I'll look for blueing options as well long as I'm looking.
