Anybody watched this old movie lately?

So I’m finding the older I get there are a more nights a week I have a hard time sleeping. Got up about midnight and turned on the tube and started watching this old 70’s movie. “Solent Green.”

It is freaky how much stuff parallels things that are going on today. Here are a few:
Date - 2022
Food Shortage
Fightng over food
beef shortage
Food Companies manipulating the food chain
Looting
People lined up for money from the government.
People who know too much getting knocked off
Jeffery Epstein situation (“furniture” for the rich)
corruption everywhere
Institutional Killing off of people for profit (google YouTube of under cover nurse in NYC hospital)


It was crazy similar to today.....

I always remember the crowd control and wish it were used on the "protesters" and rioters now. Especially the a1ntifa and blm "useful idiots". The online video clip with the water cannon violently blowing dissidents down the street would be welcome, too, but only on the afore-mentioned groups. I think the clip was the Venezuelan Socialist Government using slightly less lethal means on dissidents.

I saw "Soylent Green" about 2002 on weekend on TCM. It's a great movie and yes, good parallels there. The crowd control was call "Scoops" and were modified trash trucks. LOL

I watched my DVD of "The Omega Man" last week.....it seemed fitting. Global germ warfare launched by China, few survivors are homicidal maniacs that routinely burn down parts of the city.

I'm a fan of anything Charlton Heston and saw him once in 2000 at a local rally but just for a second. He was quickly blocked by arms in the air, applauding him. OH well, what can you expect when Moses was running the NRA?

Idiocracy was a great movie... satire, but lots of things were too true... especially the dumbest having the prolific progeny and the large companies controlling the dumb masses and brainwashing them with ads.
