Sound like the brother I never had. VERY conservative definitely matters to me but not the forum.
I'm kind of busted up too.
And I have a very strong affection for the old, obscure and odd. Just got a 45/70 myself but in a Henry Side Gate, not a BFR.
Just had a detective who retired from the department I retired from in November who moved to Texas. He really likes it so far.
I offered him a hat but he declined.

Never hurts to have another Texan, so welcome to the forum.

    Kinda old myself.

Welcome. I like your part of Texas up in the panhandle. Nice country.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Welcome to the forum. Always nice to have another veteran on here, and I won't even hold you being a Texan against against you! I spent five years of my life in the the northwestern of the Panhandle and I can say I honestly don't miss the place in the least, other than some good folks in that neck of the grass.

Not too many trees in that area.

Howdy! Conservative is AWESOME in my opinion. Welcome and hope you enjoy the forum. Some really good, helpful folks on here that always seem eager to help if you have a question. Looking forward to some of your posts! : )
