    Default Eye candy from Bawanna

The first set of grips many of you have already seen. Bawanna graciously sent them to me to test them. I'll be putting about a 100 rds down range and see how the hold up. He offered to put some checkering on them but I thought they were just too dang purty and declined.

I couldn't figure out how to continue after putting the first pics in, so I had to start another post. This set Bawanna made for me a while ago and I've been promising him to post pics of them. Well, here they are...finally. I was in the Navy for almost 26 years, and again, he graciously made this set for me. For those that don't know, the fouled anchor is the insignia for both the Navy and a Chief Petty Officer (of which I was) and the railroad tracks are for an LT (of which I retired as.)

I can't thank Bawanna enough for both sets. I will post up an after shoot report on how the first set of grips held up very soon.

Awe, I remember those now. I did a set with the fouled anchor for a motor officer at the dept. He was career Navy and a Chief as I recall. I think I have another of those pins if I run into another Navy guy.
I think I have another set of those Lt Bars too now that I ponder. Think they must come in pairs.

Yes, they come in pairs as they are collar devices.

The pics show the grips a little darker than they really are. I think that is because I didn't use a flash, I just turned on an overhead light and snapped the pics. A photographer I am not.

That is for the Army, Air Force and Marines.
    Navy and Coast Guard are:
    single gold bar - Ensign
single silver bar - LT junior grade
    double silver bars - LT

Most Marines know this as they fall under the Dept. of the Navy and a good portion have sailed on Navy ships. Most Army and Air Force don't have a clue as they are very seldom around the Navy or Coast Guard.
