Default A friend got a Christmas surprise from his local PD

A friend who lives in the Las Vegas area posted this on another forum earlier today....

“ Well it looks like I’m getting an early Christmas present from the Henderson PD.

My .357 revolver that was stolen 10 years ago (2010) was recovered at a crime scene a year later (2011).

I was informed nine years ago, when it was recovered by LV Metro PD, that it will need to be held as evidence for trial.

Looks like the nine year long trial is finally over and I’m getting my gun back.

    Yippee 👏 ”

Pray it isn't rusted shut. I used to arrange visitation for victims when I ran the property room. Had one large bunch that was apparently dusted for finger prints and were generally a big mess. I set up a table and cleaning supplies and had the owner come in and clean them. He had some nice guns, just couldn't watch them get ruined from neglect.

    You’re a good man, Colonel.
Your retirement was the department’s loss.... and the citizens’ too.
