Help on slide removal

So, I field stripped and cleaned then a little oil and grease, I installed the slide without the barrel to run the slide back and forth to spread the lube. Now I can't get the slide back off, do I need to remove the side cover to release the slide?? What a dummy dope. Ideas? Thanks

Are you pulling the trigger while trying to remove the slide?

Check out the first sticky under Kahr-Tech. Sticking a slide like this is considered a Right of Passage to Kahr ownership.

Got it, after reading the sticky, though not the same problem, tried a couple things, depressed the trigger while pulling the slide rearward then foreword and came right off. Thanks all for your help.
