No, that area looks clean and unmolested.

I like to try and understand issues others might be having with their k9 so I can watch for similiar symptoms with mine and be able to fix it.
I struggle sometimes with the different nomenclatures.
Can you explain what part of the barrel (if it is part of the barrel) the lower barrel lug is?

I'm assuming it's this:

Huge improvement but not perfect. Sixty eight rounds fired, five different mags. One premature slide lock, Two partial feeds. During the partial feeds, I had my pinkie wrapped around the end of the mag. That’s gotten me on other Kahrs, causing misfeeds. When I extended my pinkie like a proper tea-drinking gentleman those failures stopped. The slide lock on second to last round, I don’t know.
The slide is also extremely hard to slingshot, and fuggetabout using the slide release lever.
