The Shield Plus shows that only a minor tweak of the grip and magazine can produce a double stack. I mentioned this a while back, theorizing that Kahr’s .45 frames could house a double stack 9mm mag. A CW9 Plus365CatMax would beat the others with the sweet Kahr trigger.

But what about that patented barrel offset feed ramp?

Kahr needs to put their talented people to work designing a sweet 5-shot 357mag revolver, like Kimber did.

And, because I believe Americans are becoming weary of shooting each other (except in certain geo-political zones) and are ready to return to the task of punching holes in paper, our new revolver should be introduced in a target model first. Perhaps with a 5.6-6 inch barrel. And don't forget those pretty grips.

I wouldn't even care if it were DLC coated.

Cut that barrel down to 2 7/8", Big Dot front, Novak black rear, grip shape is excellent, different wood, some spring work if possible, I'm all over it. In 38/357 or .44.

Kimber makes that, just in DAO.

It's a fantastic revolver, but the geometry just doesn't fit my hand.

I WOULD change the grip........................I never could do the DAO thing. Not with a revolver. As has been mentioned in the past, the "cool" factor must always be taken in to consideration. A DAO revolver just isn't natural. It doesn't feel right and it definitely doesn't look good or cool. When I see one of those non exposed hammer models, it kind of reminds me of a dog with 3 legs. I never understood why someone wouldn't want their revolver to function 2 different ways. This "stuff" about triggers getting caught during concealed draws don't/wouldn't happen with a proper holster. Even cowboys had hammers.
