Aluminum case Ammo... has anybody used this in their PM9?

I was so excited to see hundreds of boxes of 9mm on the shelf, that I didn’t notice until I got home that it was aluminum case... has anybody had issues running this type of ammo in their PM9? TIA...

Before factory ammo became hard to find, I saw the Winchester "USA FORGED" 9mm steel case ammo at a local store at a reasonable price so I took a box to the range and ran it through my CM9 without any issues whatsoever. I was not interested in "benching it", or doing a full T&E off a rest for group size etc. or anything like that. Range sessions with my CM9 are strictly limited to shooting quickly at close ranges (3 to 15 yds). both one-hand and two without any kind of rest, or even taking very much time with things like stance, sight alignment, etc. The USA FORGED ammo shot just fine, and was no better or worse than my usual practice ammo (which I reload myself).

You don't mention which brand but I've shot tons of Blazer aluminum in 9 and 45. Even used it for training at the PD I worked at. Broke my PM45 in on Blazer 350 rounds first outing. Course things were a lot different then.
It should give you no issue.

I've heard from others that the steel case ammo works fine and no need to worry but I won't use it except on my Russian stuff that was supposedly made for it. With minimal use it's probably fine but I'm not to where I need to use the steel.

That's of course just my feeble opinion, not worth the neutrons used to post this. If it works for you carry on.

I believe it is Blazer... I’m out of town for work now, I wish I had brought some with me to try at the range... I will try it out this weekend and hopefully go back for more, thanks!
