    New shorter trigger, reversible mag release, optics ready.

    When did you see this. Seems like that came out a long time ago in ads but never materialized but I could be off on that.

    The line seems to be examples not intended suited for defensive use. Too long up top, no increase in capacity. And "chinless" undercuts on the slides? Not attractive. No steel frame .45? I'll pass.

    Yeah, I remember when it first appeared and then vanished. I just noticed its return the day I posted.

    Too long up top? Not to anyone who spent time with the HiPower - or more to the point, a 1911. I agree a steel frame would be nice, but I'd replace my 1911 with this in a heartbeat either way.
