Keep a close watch if you are buying

I don't know if this is true. It is suppose to be a new Remington round. A guy bought 3 boxes and had 13 of these split necks. Just a heads up

This is the other image that was with the first one. Posted back in March. I agree, looks like used brass. Never saw that much crud inside the neck after fireing. As I posted originally, I do not know if this is true. If you are only getting a few boxes it is not much of a job to check them out. I reload and have not bought any rifle ammo in too many years to count except for 5.56 nato.

I wonder if that was purchased on the secondary market, and the seller was less than ethical and passed off reloads at an inflated "new product" price. Enough people are dirtbags that I wouldn't put it past someone to do that.

Just scotch tape the bullet in and keep on reloading. The article said they were purchased at Walmart. Like I said in the beginning, I do not know if any of this is true. Could all be BS, but it never hurts to warn people to be careful.

I go to a lot of trouble with every piece of brass I reload. Tumble, remove bur inside flash hole, flatten primer pocket, trim to proper length, chamfer and remove burs inside and out on neck.
