The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

In my Georgia elementary school days in the 60’s all the films were from the State Department of Education and all started with the old state flag with the stars and bars flying while “Dixieland” played in the background……I don’t think that would go over so well today……..

Squirrels make for the best jambalaya! Of course you need to throw in the appropriate amount of Cajun sausage to boot.

Won't be much squirrel left if he hits within 3' of them. I found pretty much the same thing when I hung up my 22 and started carrying a 44 hunting. I plumb ain't good enough for head shots.
Don't let my missus hear all this squirrel hate, we feed a bunch of them around here.

I remember around 1970 very precisely skinning a squirrel when I was still living with my folks. I did near razor cuts around the eyes and all the details, including even the tail, then took that particular squirrel into the house to wash it down in the kitchen sink. I guess I went to take a leak or something while the squirrel was still in the sink soaking with a bit of water when my Mom came in from work. I never thought she could make the sounds that came out of her .....

Squirrels are fine if they stay out in the yard or up in a tree where they belong but when they get in your attic and do 2 grand worth of damage chewing up electrical wiring and even attack your car things change…..A squirrel chewed through a plastic fuel line on my pickup which cost me 400 bucks to have repaired so it’s game on baby……

Ran into another critter today when I went out to get the paper this morning and came real close to a Coyote standing in the driveway…..I had my .38 in my pocket but backed up to the door when he didn’t run off because he was probably rabid being out at that time of day since they are mostly nocturnal…….He eventually ran off down the middle of the street which was also odd because they mostly head towards the woods…. We have a real problem with Coyotes and Foxes here and many are rabid and you never know when you will run into one…….
