You've be lucky if you only got a fine. But no one would sell it to you. Many online vendors don't even sell to our state as both a political statement and due to ever-changing legalities.

It's really easy to legally acquire "noncompliant" guns, just have to pay 2x MSRP at least and do the transfer face-to-face. So a waste of time and money

I'd consider the CW. Both are great, the nicest shooting 380s IMO. They're the same size and function and shoot the same, but the CW380 version is hundreds less than the P380 and I'm pretty sure you'll be just as happy with it.
