Yeah, I think I posted the story that we donated it to the Texas Military Museum at Camp Mabry in Austin years ago, but they have never put it on display as far as we know.
We checked several years ago and they said they still have it in their vault.
It is a Belgian FN licensed copy - with modifications - of the Browning in 7.9mm. Apparently captured by the Germans when they overran the Low Countries in 1940, then recaptured by US forces in 1945.

I loved Combat, The Rifleman and even Batman but sometimes this show caught my attention for some reason….

Land of the lost...the sleystaks scared me! Looking back, I have no idea why. Just some guys in lizard suits making hissing noises.

I taped and watched most of the Wagon Train's and the Virginian. Mannix has been on lately. I usually watched The Streets of San Francisco, and the Rockford Files. 12 O' Clock High. My old man used to translate the German parts in Combat. Speaking gibberish half the time. I've seen most of the Have Gun Will Travel and Wanted Dead or Alive. We have a channel that shows all of the oldies but goodies. Even Beaver and Hazel. Green Acres. Lately it's been The Real McCoys.
