Welcome! Citadel is made by Armscor in the Philippines, as far as I know.

Welcome Nick. Like John said Citadel 1911’s are made by Armscor in the Philippines. Same company that makes Rock Island Armory.

Had a full size Citadel 1911 in 9mm once. It was a surprisingly good gun for the money. Accurate and the stock trigger was impressive.

Armscor is a very underrated firearms maker of high quality 1911 style handguns at an unbeatable price point……When they started a few years back it was in a brand new factory with all CNC equipment…….The Rock Island pistols are high quality at a very nice price…..One of Armscor’s really cool packages is a 1911 style .22 TCM which is a shortened .223 case to work in a pistol which hits about 2000 fps out of a 5 inch barrel and you also get a spare 9mm barrel so you got two guns in one……..I would feel good with anything that Armscor is making including ammo…….
