Wow, what a cutie. So sorry for your loss.
As a child, I read Wilson Rawls' Where the Red Fern Grows, and I recommend the book (not the movie) to anyone who has loved a dog (i.e. everyone).

Strange even our cat who usually has nothing to do with me but goes to my wife and daughter when she visits fine is kind of clingy. She knows somethings amiss with Daisy not chasing her or tormenting her. She even sat out by the grave site quite a bit yesterday. Course could be waiting for a mouse but never seen her hang there before. They got along great, the cat would ambush the dog and vice versa.

So sorry. It is so hard to lose a faithful friend. A shame they were designed with such short life spans. I'm faceing the same thing soon. My dog is 14years old and is getting skinny and the vet says there is nothing to do, just old age. Deaf as a post and blind in one eye but still a great dog.
It's sad to watch them decline like that. I guess on the plus side is Daisy was fine one day and gone the next morning. Don't help much but watching them slip away is even harder.

Sad to hear about your loss. Most of us can empathize and feel your hurt.
I still miss the 4-legged buddies I and my family had growing up.
Maybe this will bring you a little cheer.

Man that’s a great little cartoon. Perfect!
