    Default UNICORN - K9 Covert

    It does exist !

I slapped my K9 upper on my K40 Covert frame, the MK9 magazine seats fine. Slide functions, locks back, trigger resets. Do I dare shoot this Frankenkahr ? Is it going to blow up in my hand ? Thoughts, questions, ideas ?

Don't take my word for it in the least but I don't think it will blow up. Seems like it should be fine. If anything it might not function but again I don't know why it wouldn't. The frame rails and slide rails seem to match up and not be loose.

Did you ever try and shoot this? That combo is exactly what I would want, I love my P9 Covert and carry it most days, I carry a K9 in the winter and prefer the K9 but would rather have he smaller grip. Just curious if you did anything more. And thanks for sharing!

In today's world, anything less than 13 or 15 rounds (or so they say) you are seriously undergunned...

    But I think it's great!

I do love my Kahr K9, and I've also owned a factory-made P9 Covert and I cut down a P9 a couple of years ago to make my own -- both now long gone, but I've got to admit, the shorter grip really did help it conceal better, especially under just a t-shirt (having a multitool in a sheath on the same side helped conceal the bulge from the grip too).
