I don't really understand the antipathy toward electric cars. I guess it's because "they" want us to give up gasoline cars and be tree huggers, but we can have both. We all know electric cars run on oil, coal, nuclear, and hydroelectric, but the actual dollar cost of charging them is pretty tiny.

I know someone who bought a Kia EV and he estimated the charging at home to be something like $3-4. That was probably not a full charge, just the overnight top-off.

My hunch is the Tesla chargers rip you off, but I have no idea. Space boy needs to buy rockets.
