    Default Can't remove barrel - CM45

Barrel will not drop free of slide. Can't tell, but looks like maybe the extractor is blocking the barrel from dropping out the bottom of the slide. Suggestions.

I've found that if I push the barrel forward a bit, then I can lift the lug directly upwards and the barrel hood clears everything and out she comes.

Up sometimes a little twist counterclockwise and out she should come. Never heard of anyone having this issue before. Please keep us posted on how this shakes out.

Sorry guys for the late reply, but I got sidetracked. Just spent 30 min trying the above suggestions, still won't drop out. I still think the extractor is the problem. The extractor spring is very stiff and no way for me to depress and I don't want to force anything. I will just leave it as is. I can still plunk test and lubricate, so I'' just live with it.
