This frequently happens. A goof on our end and everybody is ticked off at Kahr. If they sent a label Kahr is picking up the shipping cost. So it's just like an FFL shipping to another FFL. You should be able to go to any FedEx outlet and send it. If you have to pay to ship the dealer can usually ship much cheaper than you can.
Also some outlets mailbox stores etc are just anti gun. They refuse to ship. Take it to another mail box or to a main hub and they ship without issue. It's a tangled web for sure.

Waite a minute here, you purchased this pistol from a local gun shop? If so, the shop should handle and rectify any problems. Isn’t that called customer service?

    It passes the pencil test.

I'm thinking once I finally get in an RMA number from Karh it'll be quite a while before I get the gun back since it's been 5 days and no RMA yet.
Strange. Sounds like the striker block isn’t blocking. I assume it would still protrude if you pulled it back half inch and released it. In any case, Kahr will get it straightened out for you. Let’s us know what they say.

It is strange. The striker block is blocking when you pull the striker back a quarter inch release it. It protrudes less after you pull it back a quarter inch but not all the way into the breach. I boxed it up and put the car return label on it and dropped it off at FedEx this afternoon. There is no issue at FedEx shipping the firearm. I did not expect or ask the place I bought it to be responsible to make them pistol right. They do not manufacture it again I don't believe they should be responsible for the repairs. I will follow up when I get the firearm back. I appreciate all the input from everyone here thanks Craig

Reading this last post I got a feeling Kahr is not going to find anything wrong. Anxious to hear what they say.

Best of luck, I’m sure Kahr will correct it and all will be good. It would take just a few minutes to pull the striker and block for an inspection. Plus you would know how to strip the slide for cleaning and be a step ahead.

I got my PM9 back from kahr yesterday. They had it for less than 3 weeks. They found a cracked striker spacer and replaced it. The gun now passes the safety check. No more protruding striker. The gun also ejects live rounds now with out jamming. They also test fired the 3 magazines that came with my pm9 cleaned and oil. Great service and fast turn around. Looking forward to getting to the range to fire for 1st time.

    Thanks for all who contributed.
