    Default Anyone used Armslist lately?

Has anyone listed anything for sale on Armslist lately? In the past it was free and I sold some items using it. It worked well for finding local buyers back when it was free. I’m wondering if now the monthly recurring fee of $7 has reduced the number of users and it may not work as well.

In the past it was less complicated than Gun broker.

When I have sold something, I join and cancel after selling. That way you don't get billed for the next month. So far it has worked well.

I've used it in the past and it worked well for sales and trades. Bit of a risk involved. Now, I refuse to pay unless I would see something that I really want. Then join, then cancel as mentioned. Made some good trades over the years.

I have bought a few items on there, before the charge. The Charge is supposed to reduce scammers, not sure if it works or not.
You have to join as a buyer too, if you want to contact the sellers via armslist.
Around my area, the savvy sellers post a phone number for texting. So I can still buy as a non-member if I want too. Around here, most sellers ask stupid prices. "Almost new toothbrush, only used one week" paid 3.00 asking 2.90, as an example. Some of the used prices are higher than I can buy new. However, I don't know what they pay, but some of the smaller mom and pop stores have a lot of items listed, same price as in the store.

Many of the sellers in my area still list the price and all information. After the fee many don't tell much unless you pay the fee.
Fortunately, the semi local pawn shop which is 95% gun shop with tons of good stuff still list all info. When I see something that blows my dress up I just go there.
I do think it was better before the fee's but I got limited buying power anyhow, so the less I look the less tempting it is ya know?

I use it several times a year with no major issues. You'll still get the people that ignore your ad and offer trades with you said your weren't accepting any, or $200 offers for a $800 posting, or the occasional no show.
