Default Keltec P15. They are making alloy framed guns now.

Now sure if anyone has seen one yet. Not pretty, but as always, pretty innovative. There is both a poly and alloy version with checkered wood grips. You can actually switch off the grip safety and magazine safety. Already comes with tritium fo sights. Looks like good starting prices on them too.

I thought the alloy one was too expensive, but looked less aesthetically challenged than the polymer one.

Yes, pretty they are not. I did not see the metal framed one's price. The poly's msrp was $450. I just got the new issue of American Rifleman and saw it there.

I wonder how problematic the grip safety will prove to be. Or not.

With that on/off switch, very well could get to be a problem. More so if gummed or worn.

I can’t find pricing on the alloy framed version, and it’s not on their website, but I recall it being $700-800.

Wow! Yeah, that's a negatory red rider. No way I'd ever buy one. I'd much rather add a few bucks and get another 1911. Well at least I now know Thanks!)

Or subtract a few bucks. I keep reading about how good the Tisas 1911s are, and some are under $300! I might try out their Stingray, in .45.

Correct! I’ve seen a few posted by forum member dao that look really sharp. He has bought multiple, so I doubt he would do so if they suck. For the price point, their stuff seems hard to beat.
