    I guess I'm the butter-knife/lantern.
    I don't get Arthur: "half a" job
    or Coleslaw: "90% cabbage"
Can someone spoon-feed me some explanations? - feel free to call me dysphagia. . .

Mr. Dysphagia.......Arthur is an anthropomorphic aardvark on a tv series for children ages 4-8. The 90% cabbage could be due to 10% being carrots. Could also be the results of eating too much at one sitting.

I though Arthur was from the movie, "Arthur, Arthur." Just half the name of the movie, hence only on half the job. I don't hang around little kids so no idea about a kiddy show.

Say “Arthur job” in a Cockney accent. Half a job.I suspect the meme is Bri’ish.

    Aha, That works!
Coincidentally, without knowing the UK sourcing, and despite my Dad's name being Arthur, I couldn't disassociate that reference from Dudley Moore's character portrayal, but thought it tied to something that happened in the movie; skipped right past the obvious.
    Thanks for the spoon-feed
