    Default This Old Micro

Here us a gun with a whole lot of ammo down range. Have shot it religiously with over 15,000 rds

I had planned on getting the receiver reblued or cerakote which I still will do, but did enhance with a new cleaning mixture. I bought the Pro-sport "Slicker" (which is the slickest oil have ever used) and mixed it with Ballistol 50/50 ratio and let it sit over night. It seemed to take a lot of film that was on the gun. It totally disintegrated the grip tape on it. It appears to me to have deepened the color. (Maybe just my eyes).

Pro shot has two different bottle. One a regular CPL and the "Slicker". I will use the slicker for trigger parts and may be a good oil for tight tolerance new guns.
PS I had also mentioned that my Taurus GX 4 receiver appeared to be taking a lot of wear, but this enhanced to like new again.

Pro shot is one of the best places to go for a lot of supplies. A USA Brick and Mortar store, family started and been around for years. Always great products.

Nice! That Nano is like one of your long time friends.

I had one years ago. I liked everything about it except how it felt in my hand. It just didn’t feel right so eventually I sold it.

muggsy: Let's face it, being shot by a .380 will ruin anyone's day.

My oldest I still carry at times is my Ruger LCP bought in 2010. Still use the original worn out Blackhawk pocket holster I bought at the same time. Well over 1000 rounds and never a failure except with Independence Ammo which had a weird rim on the casing.

My second is my 2012 CM9 which is back in pocket carry rotation since I have a new pocket holster. Shot too many rounds to count through it and only had one FTFeed on the first magazine and never a problem since.

Sold my (or should say the wife’s) Nano years back.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Here is another older gun Ruger SR9c. Actually ahead of it's time. 10 rd, quickly add to 17rds. Front serrations, additional back strap. Ruger quality with all the steel inside.

Sitting on leather from my OLD LAZY BOY! Cut pieces of it before it was hauled away to the dump.

Anniversary coming up soon. Need to get a Card and Flowers. Take her out to her favorite range.

What a damn fine gun. Worth every nickle I paid.

    RUGER lcr 9MM
