Totally agree, but this also falls under the seatbelt, insurance, alarm system thought of “Would you rather have it and not need it, or need it and not have it” scenarios. Yes, you can shoot a pocket 380 too much, but you can also shoot it not enough. I am with you that I don’t see the point in putting 1000 rounds through one, but I do want to put enough through, with the exact ammo I will carry it with, to know that it will be ready if called upon. To each his own with what they consider sufficient in these regards. Some like ketchup on their corn dogs. Most do not.

I also agree with everything you said also. I don't think you can shoot a P380 "too much.". If the gun is cleaned and "properly oiled and greased" there is not a lot that wears out. Yes, you have to replace the recoil springs, strip the slide, install a Lakeline striker, install a stainless recoil spring guide and replace the magazine springs every so often but not anything I know actually wears out. My 2 ¢, you should shoot at least 50 rounds per month in whatever your EDC is. More is okay, but less is not.
