Shoot, Clean, Lubricate and Repeat
My MK40 was tight as a drum NIB.
I found it difficult to rack the slide.
Even field stripping and reassembly was difficult for me.
Also I experienced FTF often for the first 200 rounds.
And sporadically for the second 200 rounds.
All that work finally paid dividends as the gun now runs 100% with anything.
Also racking the slide and cleaning became much easier
Feel like some folks may be giving up on the guns
before running them through a proper break in.
