Always regretted not getting a lever action. But after moving back east there was not really a need for one as we use nothing but shotguns for Deer, Turkey etc. Do have a Henry 22. Octoagon which I love. A lever action center fire may be in my future. Not sure which caliber. IMO one of the coolest firearms ever made. Personally I find AR's on the boring side.

Growing up watching The Rifleman, I've always wanted a lever action gun.
    Just never scratched that itch...

Gave my 1968 production jm-stamped Marlin .30-30 to my son decades ago….

I always liked lever guns myself. Have a few. With my Henry 22 Golden Boy I got for Christmas we now have the wife's Henry 22, my Henry 45/70 and a few Winchesters. I like my Big Bore 94 375. Bought it used in an earlier life, it's still mint. Haven't shot it in years but I know it's there. Carried it Elk hunting when I was beating the brush.
My son just got the above mentioned Henry 410 a week ago. I haven't even seen it in person yet but it looks sweet. With the new draconian laws around here it took him a month to get it, from ordering to waiting to losing the paper. He wasn't happy.

Why own any Kahrs is all these options have the same exact capability?
The reason I prefer Kahr over competing single-stack pistols:

A barrel at least a quarter-inch longer for any slide length.

Flatter profile (0.9" wide as compared to 1.0" to 1.1" wide)

A trigger designed for self-defense rather than gun games.
    * Enough weight but not too much so as not be accused of risking the public with a "hair trigger."
    * Smooth with no stacking for a straight-through trigger pull.
*** Because your finger is off the trigger until you decide to shoot -- and then you need to shoot RIGHT NOW!
*** So the "surprise trigger break" helps you avoid flinching (the main reason trained people miss to lose gunfights).

    At any size:
** There is no gun as concealable that is as easy to shoot well.
** There is no gun as easy to shoot well that is as concealable.

    Same here.
Plus a quality firearm with clean lines and no junk hanging all over the slide.

I was always pleased how “soft shooting” my CW45 was before gifting it to my son. It’s his EDC now.

Agreed, and besides conceal-ability, it's the comfort while concealed for me (in tight bucket seats etc).

Kahr did announce that the X9 will be at Shot Show. Hopefully we’ll see the new magazine and trigger.

A poster who is a gun dealer I know on a Texas sports board is at the Shot Show. I suggested he check out the Kahr booth if he had time.
Dunno if he will, as he’s primarily a rifle & shotgun guy.

    $550 MSRP
At about 45 seconds in the mag falls out of the gun
