Default Help Me Pick My Next Project To Complete

I have a poll on this I just started in another forum, but would also like you guys input…
I am going to be finishing up my current polishing project, the Springer V10 soon, so I will be getting into another one. I want to take a poll to see which one I should do. As in the thread about the V10, I’ll post updates on the next one as I go along with it. Personally, I get motivated by the discussion and comments you all make when engaging in the threads, so thanks for that! So, which one should I complete next?
#1 - STI USPSA : Still needs pretty much everything
#2 - Colt Gold Cup Trophy: Still needs pretty much everything
#3 - Sig 229: Finish slide, polish and fit mag base, polish/nickel the controls, a few odds and ends
#4 - Ruger Sp101: Finish the frame, finish the cylinder, polish internal, do Mcarbo stuff inside, put new fiber optic sight on
#5 - Beretta 92s: Re polish frame, polish/nickel controls, delete lanyard ms cap and replace with flat one (polish flat one), fit then finish polishing compensator, fit and finish mag base

Something about a shinny Colt 1911 just sounds nice

I do too. I’m going the have to wire wheel in there (As Bawanna suggested) quickly to get that area started towards shininess. Don’t want to lose any of the checkering come sanding or buffing time. So far, between this poll and the same one running on another forum, it’s looking like the Colt will be next though.

Got to vote for the Ruger. I have a pair of languishing Wheel Gun projects and I'm in need of some inspiration...

...And the free time to get to work on them. I'll be punching a time clock for at least two more years and the grandchildren get most of my remaining free time.

    Not complaining mind you.
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
    "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
    "more stuff than you are"

I"m with you man! Projects and the time to complete them. I think I have 5 more years working though, so you've got me beat there. Unless I get one real good scratch off ticket! 😂

I see! Funny thing is, that's the one I'm doing after all of these. I bought an SC off of this form. I intend to scrape off the billboard in the process. Do the slide and all of the controls. Hope it looks as good as it does in my mind!
That slide is going to be a tough one when it comes to the serrations. Kinda like why I'm dreading the STI slide. 😯
Curious though, if I did decide to do the frame, do you think the scandium will polish bright the way an aluminum alloy frame does?

Asthetically I don't think I'd mess with the frame. I have no idea if it would polish but the contrast would be a beautiful thing. I'm surprised Jeepsters isn't green already.

Is that a scandium frame? I thought those were very light? Beautiful shooter regardless!
