    Cool Hk p7

    HK P7 trigger is outstanding.
But the squeeze cocking for some reason was off putting for me.
    So I never bought one.

I really like my MK40 Elite trigger.
But it doesn't really compare to my Dan Wesson V-Bob.

Everything else I've got (striker fired) really doesn't come close.

Only trigger I've got that compares (1911) isn't striker at all.
That would be My S&W 629-2 44 Mag Mountain Revolver.
And it has a professional trigger job and an over-travel adjustable trigger.
Plus with over 1K rounds down the pipe.
The stainless steel gun seems to have polished the internals even more.
Now the trigger's so light I don't like letting anyone else shoot it
On my best day, at close range, I emptied a cylinder of 6 magnum rounds into a single ragged hole

    Nice revolver Barth.
Seems that Kahr triggers have always been compared to the best revolver DA triggers, even though they're neither truly DA nor SA. But the buttery action just completely hides the point when the precocked tension is taken up and then increased. I think that was at least one of Justin's 6 patents on the K9 wasn't it?

I have found the Kahr trigger, to be great for teaching newbies. There is no stacking, so they cannot anticipate the break, and tend to flinch less. Might be why I love it too. :-)

Good point Ken, hadn't thought of it in just that way.

Unfortunately the reality is that if the trigger isn't strike-fired, audible, and 2-4 pounds with a short take up and reset, it's seen as a TERRIBLE trigger by the majority of the firearm community.
