That car looks so cool now but back then it was ho hum. I actually bought one that someone had shoe-horned a V8 into. I told the guy when I picked it up that I was expecting a turn key car. He assured me it was. Fast little bugger. But the next morning as I was heading to work the oil plug fell out of the pan. I made it to town, about 3/4 of a mile away and called him to tell him to come pick it up. He refused at first but I told him I'd cancel the check as soon as the bank opened. He came and got it, with a plug and oil. And my check.
