Wow, those grip panels look good. I remember those well. I got lucky and they fit good and I didn't screw up.

    Thanks for refreshing my memory.

Nice cannon (and the grips too) Mr Surveyor. I noticed you took the pic on a grid too. Yes, you must be a true surveyor through and through!
For some reason, I want to get me one of those cannons one day and polish the snot out of it. One of my all time fave revolvers right there. And, when you run out of ammo, they still make for a good weapon (club like) when grasped by the other end!

I still have the original 2010 pic. The SP-101 hadn't developed it's character marks yet

I've always been more into practicality and functionality, and that rig fits my needs.

Yes, all the grips I've made started out as a block of wood.

We'll leave the light on for ya. I haven't been making too many grips of late. Usually making lots of sawdust in my little room where it's warm and dry in the winter but been out in the big shop making sawdust on bigger stuff. Gotta get me a pellet stove out there. Got a propane heater but 30 bucks to fill the tank and it only goes 2 or 3 days. Plus all the moisture it introduces.
