My gunsmith promised me my ATI Commander back tomorrow from getting drilled for a bobtail. The rest will be up to me. Wish me luck!

Piece of cake Deacon. Getting that hole in the right spot is 95% of the battle.
The rest is easy once you built up your nerve to hacksaw or dremel cut on your pretty gun.
I think I've done 4 I think. It's still tough. A lot of chanting, don't screw up, don't screw up, don't screw up.
In Memory of Paul "Dietrich" Stines.
Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
Cue sound of Head slap.

He didn't get it done today, but that is because the replacement bobbed MSH from Fusion is to well made! Gonna take a couple more days to be fitted properly and drilled. Actually the cutting, shaping and filing doesn't really worry me, my Dad was a machinist, so I grew up in a job shop! Knew how to run Bridgeport lathes and mills when I was 12 years old!

Here's my several-year-old PKZSE 1911 that has undergone a few changes, most visibly the MGW sights and a surplus G.I. stamped and welded trigger:
I have a thread on this forum where I discuss this GREAT pistol in more detail:

Mine in 38 Super. It is an accurate and reliable pistol.
