Default One more equipped with XS

Well thanks to Tilos, my Glock 21SF which I've been wanting to hang XS sights on is now equipped. He had a set languishing in a drawer along with a nice pile of 45 Colt brass. Sooooo, I got a nice package in the mail today.

Easiest sight install I've ever done. 5 minutes tops and that included finding the original rear sight that flew accross the room after the second tiny tap with a hammer and punch.

    Evidence photos of course.

Thanks a million Tilo's. You totally rock. Next on the XS list is the Cbob but it's working just fine as is so time is on my side.

I know those are night sights but I hope they see more daylight now.
What happened to that grip...did you use CRC Silicone spray on it?

I did my own grip reduction and that's truck bed liner. It's probably the ugliest Glock on earth but it feels super nice in the hand. The coating is the consistency of rubber so it's a good solid but soft and pliable grip.

The Glock resides in my night stand but does see daylight from time to time.

    Thanks again.

I like that front to back skinny grip.

Everytime I go to this one gun store and ask to see a gun, any gun, they try and sell me a glock.
One guy can't wait to wip out his carry and show me the grip reduction, etc.
Once I asked how he did it, and got "it's propritory", and then the, you have to join the club to find out, look.
He never asks, but my Glock is the gun I shoot the most and I never told him either.

We sent all our dept Glocks to Robar for texture and reduction on many. I got to pondering it and it popped into my head that what one man can do another can do. Since it's just a Glock and the worse case scenario is I'd have to just buy another I tackled it myself. It still probably only has 300 rounds or so thru it but it turned out good, ugly but good.

I must have snuck in the back door of the club, I don't have no membership card. I'll let ya in on how I did it if your interested.

I've been pondering putting a Dawson Precision light rail on my Double stack Para LDA and use it for the night stand and sell the Glock but it's so dang ugly I don't think anyone would buy it.

It really does feel great in the hand though.

Robar put 24/7 Big Dots on my P45 and I fell in love with the sights. Finally got around to installing them on the G27 and G36 last week. Super easy install and better if doing two at a time. CCR is putting them on my G23 while it's being refinished and after that I think I'm done installing new sights for a bit. Makes me wish I didn't go for the factory NS on the G21. Funny thing, my camera doesn't take very good pictures in the dark.

What model sights fit the P45? Does it also have the Tritium in the rear or is it white stripe rear, Tritium front only?
I want Tritium at the front and rear but I can't find the correct model online.
