Being the CM9 is stainless I don't know, maybe wear will show on blued or coated guns.

Never tried one, but I've heard good things about Highnoon Holsters.

I live in South West Florida, the southern most area on the west coast, before you need to take a 90 degree turn and head toward the east coast. I never wear more than a t-shirt and cargo shorts, year round. I use the PJ holster daily. I find it is comfortable against my skin. Unlike leather does not make me sweat more and will not absorb moisture. I had leather holsters before. After a day of use they would be "waterlogged" with perspiration and could transfer that moisture to the gun.

Here is a guy who hand makes holsters to order. That are inexpensive and really well made. Before I got my PJ, this is the holster I used daily. Right now he is backed up and not taking orders. But you might want to send him an email and get an idea on time. JMG Holsters

Exactly! The natural abrasives of leather plus the ability of leather to hold dirt and microscopic "pebbles" and such, makes leather more apt to wear a gun's finish than kydex. Here is a quote from world renowned Raven Concealment Systems, "All holsters wear the finish on a firearm. These are tools we carry to potentially save our life one day, they should not be collector’s items. Kydex holsters, over the long term, will wear a gun less than a leather holster will. Kydex will rub along the high spots of a gun and may create some wear marks. After the holster is broken in, those wear marks typically will not grow in size. A leather holster will retain dirt, sweat, powder residue, oil, and other daily grime which will create an abrasive surface that will constantly wear on the gun it holds. When your Kydex holster is dirty, simply wash it out."

ballistic nylon seems to be a "tweener" of leather and kydex. I have just never been a fan of kydex. My guns are tools, expecially myt carry6 guns. I don't expect them to look like new after 5years in and out of my pocket, but I do expect themt o go bang when needed, so wear/looiks is not important to me as it is to some. An all stainless kahr is a no-brainer in ur cncered about wear. I tink any finish be it glocks tennifer or kahrs dlc, over time will wear and alot depends on the rig ur carrying it in to. Leather is damn nice lookkng but what markis892 stated is about dead on. Just saying
