If "decent" means "honest" and consistent (with walking his talk) throughout his entire life -- then Ron Paul is the ONLY decent candidate there... The rest of 'em bend wherever the wind blows. I don't agree with him on everything, but at least I know he'll do what he says he'll do. The rest of them say what they think the voters want to hear, and then if elected they do whatever the hell they please.

He is actually very different, that way; a truly decent man among a bunch of lying flip-floppers. The only guy there who truly understands and will support the Constitution, who actually cares about this country; the rest are there only for personal gain and power, IMO.

Sorry for the outburst... Frustrating stuff.

This could spell disaster for all that cherish liberty, and 2nd Amendment supporting gun owners in particular.
I have to believe that any Supreme Court nominee by Romney will be a Constitutionalist, like John Roberts, who was appointed by George W. Bush.
If Romney gets the nomination, he'll get my vote. It's a no-brainer for me.
Agreed. This is THE MOST crucial issue in the next election. It's hard to believe we had 4 supreme court justices vote against a man's right to protect his home with a firearm. It is preposterous that they could interpret the second amendment as intended for militia only and not the general populace. That is truly scary, and shows how far we have drifted from the intent of the original framers of our Constitution. One more left wing wacko and we might soon kiss the second amendment goodbye.

As for Romney, better late than never. I truly hope he's not just pandering to the gun lobby for support. I hope we get a chance to find out. At least he won't appoint another Sotomayor.

Well we know what the current pres thinks. And after the election he'll try to do something. I guess Romney it is.

Plus I'm tired of seeing all these "Wish Barak and Michelle a nice day, mothers day, Christmas, etc..." ads every time I go to a web site. I need a break.

Since Reagan it's always the lesser of two evils....
It sure would be nice to be able to vote for an American with American values and not a rich SOB that has no idea what we the people really go through.
And yes, not parrot the f'ing party line.
