My CM9 Trijicons came from Kahr as the OP described. I thought nothing of it. BTW, it has been several months and hundreds of rounds, the sights are fund, and I love'em.

gnna go out on a limb here and say I think the CM model niht sights willbe shipped in a box as that is not a production sight that kahr itself installs on their guns as an option. So more than likely Trijicon or who eve ris making that night sight fo rhte cm series is shipping then that way and maybe kahr has no option as to bulk order "loosely". Just sayin

My CM9 Trijicons came from Kahr as the OP described. (loose in a tiny ziplock bag with the bag stapled to a set of copy machine copied installation instructions) "Just sayin"

My CM9 front night sight was shipped in a tiny ziplok parts baggie. I don't see that as anything odd. It's a tiny little part. They included instructions.

I have issues with the gross overpackaging of everything we consume here in the US. When asked if I need a bag for something in a store, I usually say no, since it's going to be a one time use and I pay to have trash hauled.

Side note: I know some folks have recently gotten new Kahr guns in cardboard. That is how Ruger ships them. The difference is Ruger also includes a nice zip up pistol case. I'd much prefer that to the molded plastic cases Kahr used to ship in.

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

That sounds like a good reason...Thank you for the KIND reply...You mentioned in a previous thread that "there are no stupid questions" and I appreciate the kind responses to my sincere question...
