A little bullet expansion testing

I tested some of my reloads for expansion today. They are 124 grn Hornady XTP loaded to an average of 1255 fps fired out of a Glock 19. Into 3 layers of denim into water. I thought it was pretty cool but really proves nothing. Here are the pics. Bullet weighed 123 grns after test.

1st & 2nd pics look like I might expect, but that 3rd pic doesn't look good. Any ideas why? Guess they can't all expand nicely.

I see it now, was looking at it on my laptop last night, terribly dark screen. It looked like an un-expanded bullet when I first saw it. Anyway, pretty decent expansion.
