TW25 SPECS

You’ve found it…the legendary TW25B® extreme performance weapons lubricant.

The top-performing, trusted favorite of U.S. Military fighters, leading law enforcement agencies, precision firearms manufacturers and sport shooters everywhere.

Engineered with proprietary PTFE nano-particle technology that outlasts and outperforms other weapons lubricants. Battlefield tested in the heat and sand of desert war zones … on advanced fighter gun systems … in the corrosive, saltwater environments of naval warfare … on the firing line with law officers where weapons reliability is a life-and-death matter.

UNIQUE ACTING

TW25B® lubricating light grease penetrates the pores of metal surfaces and creates a roller-bearing smooth surface on all weapon parts and on bore surfaces. TW25B® super-lubricates and lasts up to ten times longer than other lubricants. In the bore, on working parts, TW25B® makes every weapon and every part work to its maximum best.

TW25B® -- WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: LESS CLEANING, MORE SHOOTING

• Optimizes firearm performance with very long-lasting lubrication and corrosion protection
• Performs dependably in all climates, under all weather conditions, on all types of firearms
• Works reliably in temperatures ranging from -90°F (-67°C) to +450°F (+232°C)
• Greatly reduces friction and wear…extends the life of weapon parts
• Repels sand, dust, grit, debris…minimizes accumulation of gun powder residue
• Resists wash-off, wear-off, burn-off, and evaporation between cleanings
• Reduces time and frequency of maintenance with easy wipe-off cleaning
• Allows storage of weapons in fire-ready condition for extended periods
• Minimizes carbon residue, galvanic corrosion and build-up of copper and lead
• Generally harmless to wood, rubber, plastic or composite parts
• All synthetic, non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally safe.

Our TW25B® extreme performance lubricant is officially endorsed for use on SIG SAUER firearms.

We recommend that you consult your SIG SAUER Owner’s Manual for detailed information about the proper care and maintenance of your hardware.

Below you will also find our own standard, recommended maintenance instructions regarding the use of TW25B® synthetic, lubricating light grease.

"PTFE nano-particle technology"

This is very important to me....

I been using the TW25 for quite a spell but saw a tube of the Shooters Choice at Cabela's so I bought a tube. It goes a long ways and last a long time.

Kind of a Tootsie Roll in that lasting area.

In a pinch I've used high temp brake grease, wheel bearing grease (non-fibered), general purpose chassis grease, plumbers grease, Phulger fishing reel grease, etc. They all worked. Some better than others.

BTW - I'm using the Shooters Choice now.

At first it was shooters choice for me as it was at the gun shop and I liked the syringe applicator more than anything else. Id id fine to. ThenIstumble donto TW25 and liked it asmuch if not more but can't say exactly why, but I like the applicator on it even alittle better. I but the tip off so that just a very small line of TW comes out and I can run it right downinsde my sldie rails and even reach insidce of the lower and put a dab on the trigger bar spring. I dab it on the slide lock spring . Just sayin

Hell who knows, maybe even shooters choice is buying TW25 in bulk and packaging it themselves. Both are white i color and they certainlyfeel closely the same. Niether runs and that is another reason I like um.

I use slide glide on the rails of all my pistols. Haven't had an issue with any of them.

I broke in my MK40 Elite just using Militec-1 oil.
I think Kahr recommends it?
Never used grease?

After watching a Hickok45 Glock cleaning video
I use Ballistol now on all my guns.
Being non-toxic really appeals to me.
It's been working well for me so far...

As I work in a sporting goods shop that also carries fishing gear,I tried something on a lark. It's Penn reel grease,it was infused with PTFE and waterproof to the enth degree,so I figure what the heck,$4 for a little tub of it.
MAN is that stuff slick! A little goes a long ways,I do the rails, striker cam ,trigger pivot around the coil spring and the barrel surfaces,I just smear a light film on these areas.

The way I know it has staying power is when I go to clean the gun later, brake cleaner barely budges it off,it really bonds at the molecular level, not just a slogan IMHO. Also rated for Penn's legendary high-dollar deep sea reel warranty.

Those in the know realize that these big boy reels can spin 1000s of rpms during a fish fight/run,and have water poured on the reel to cool it,yet the lube HAS to stay put,or failure. I doubt my guns will see that treatment. I see it a Wmart in the fishing dept...
