^^^ that came out looking really good! I know the design makes the slide easier to grasp but does it make it easer to rack? I mean the spring is still stiff right? But you get more leverage?

I'm not quite sure how to answer that. The spring stiffness and force required doesn't change. Hopefully not having to grip the slide as fiercely makes it easier to rack the slide when grip strength is the issue. That's the idea anyway.

In tactical shooting those type wings are invaluable in one handed weapon handling. To rack the slide you catch the wing against the top of your belt and run the firearm downward. Suarez has had them for Glocks and Scott Springer for Springfield XD's for two or three years now.

I would round the edges more. Seems like it would snag on clothing when drawn.

You could do that. I prototyped this quite a bit. There is a tradeoff between grip and size, i.e. do you want it slippery or to "snag" enough to be able to operate it. Since removing material is something folks can do, you would have the option of making it anyway you want.

Ok, that is cool. May have to think about one or two of these.

A good idea if you have problems racking the slide.

Any thought of making it in a stainless steel color to match the slide?
