Scope for 10/22
I need a scope for my Ruger 10/22. What do ya'll recommend?

I put a good one on mine with the Leapold mount system (base and rings). A good scope on that gun makes sense as it will most likely be the gun you shoot the most.
Unless your pockets are alot deeper than mine...

The best rule is, the best you can afford; what you buy depends on range you want it for. The Nikon scopes are nice. I like the new ones with built in laser range finder.

I think mine has a cheap Tasco 3x9 power. Has always worked well, and was pretty inexpensive. It was a regular .22 scope with the built in clamps to attach to the little raill on top. You're not getting a lot of recoil with that, so it isn't very hard on scopes.
I think was one of those $30-$40 .22 scopes. It's a narrow tube, and doesn't give you much sight picture, but works great for me and the small varmits around here.

Anything with an adjustable objective for parallax correction would be fine.
