K9: 8 round mag vs 7 round mag
I have only the 7 round mags for my NYPD K9.
Eyeballing the photos I can see of this 8 round magazine:
http://www.kahr.com/Magazines/Kahr-8...azine-K920.asp
It looks like it would protrude only minimally more than the 7 round magazine.
Other than that, are there any downsides? Is it less reliable?
I'm having a hard time finding photos of the K9 with the 8 round magazine in place.
Can someone post photos of your K9 with this 8 round mag in place, and, for comparison, with the 7 round mag? And perhaps compare and contrast your experience with the two mags?

I think that photo is wrong! that looks like the 7 round, my 8 round is much longer. imo the 8 round mag.functions as well as the 7. But I prefer the 7, to me the 8 is to long and looks hidious.

Here's a comparison I did:

I like the 8-round extended grip mags for reloads and range use.

The K920 will leave a 1/2" gap between the grip and the base plate on the CW9 and K9.

Well that's not cool. I don't see the point then. Seems like the K920G would be a more stable fit. Albeit still awkward looking. I think I'll stick with my 7's.
Anyone have photos of a K920 in a K9?

good idea on stickin with the 7's. why screw up te looks of the finest look gun out there. If u can't do it in 7 shots, consider urself probably dead.
actually as u know the 8 orunder really belongs in the T series kahrs, fits perfect and looks like it belongs there.
good 500 race todayt, that Japanese guy on the last lap reminded me of the sh!t they pulled on Pearl Harbor, those sneaky bastards
Had he won that frm Franchetti, he would have had a herd of horsehead son his front door by morning Just sayiun.

I prefer the 7+1 set-up keeps the ccw more compact.
