How about a K9 combo-9mm and 22LR

Why doesn't Kahr make a 22LR replacement slide for the K9 and other models? Seems like a no brainer for me.

Use the 9mm for self defense and the 22 LR for practice. Even better would be both in one case as a set you could purchase new.

one for the 45, one for the 40, one for the 9mm and then one for the pm models and then one for the k models. It would break the company to try to accomadate and not sure it would be a profit maker either. It is ore than a no brainer. Why doesn't glock,???

Being the kahr PM9 is their biggest seller, would you make one only for that and then skip the steel frames shooters?? Or forget about the CW frame shooters... Sounds alot easier than said , IMO.

It is okay to dream, heck I am having a fantasy that Kahr will come out with a 45GAP and hopefully that will be a better bullet for their 45 line. But unfortunately Kahr is not Burger King and you cannot have your way!

Sig is starting do do it for thier guns so it can be done. They charge about $300 for the new setup.

I would pay about $300 for the 22LR setup, shoot it for a couple years and I have made my money back.

I now have a K9 of my own after a 9 month wait

Now just waiting on the 22LR kit.

With the offset feed ramp and generally cramped arrangement of these guns, it would probably be an engineering nightmare.

being an idpa shooter, i doubletap basically everytime i shoot. definitely not a no brainer to me, i'd be in big trouble getting used to doubletapping with .22 then trying to go back to 9.

I personally would prefer a metal slide blowback AirSoft PM9. Much cheaper to operate even compared to a .22 conversion, indoor practice during bad weather, get a couple of buds and with protective gear you can do force on force drills. For sure there are pluses for the conversion over an AirSoft so I guess both would be nice.
